What sets Dr. Christopher's School of Natural Healing apart from other herbal schools?

As one of the oldest herbal schools in the United States, we have experience with teaching the most important topics for an herbalist to know as well as how to navigate the legalities of operating an herbal school. You can be sure when you study with us that we will be here to support you throughout your studies.
Our students are given a deep background in Vitalist principles and the details of how to apply those principles to specific situations. We have received wonderful feedback from our students about the depth of understanding they receive from studying at our school.

What can an herbalist legally do in the United States?

Herbalists can educate and instruct about the historical usage of herbs. This can be done through written books and articles, counselling clients in a clinic or health food store, lecturing and teaching classes, or simply working with your own family.

Herbalists do not diagnose illness or prescribe medicine

If I live outside of the United States, will I have to pay a customs charge for my course?

If you live outside of the United States and purchase one of our correspondence courses you may have to pay a customs charge. If you generally have to pay customs on other items, you will probably have to pay customs for one of our courses. We usually recommend our students outside of the United States consider enrolling in our online courses to avoid extra shipping and customs charges.

What is the difference between Correspondence courses and Online courses

We have one set of courses with two methods of study. Our correspondence courses and our online courses cover the same material. In our correspondence courses we will mail you all of your study materials and you will mail us back your completed assignments and study guides. In our online courses all the material, with the exception of the books, is available to you through an online course portal. As an online student you will upload your assignments and study guides through the portal. The online program does not include the textbooks.
